Whats so miraculous about things we can explain?

We rock in what we know and can explain, and its so totally normal to want to explain. But to obey, heh..thats not so natural. And its not necessarily sinful, or wrong to disobey! There is no moral virtue in being blindly obedient unless it is being obedient to the One who tells us what it means to be moral, and not be livin' like the devil. It might even mean being freed from a person who wants us to obey but is not doing so for the good of our soul. People like that suck, and there are thousands of them.

A person is a slave to obey unless behind it is the acknowledgement of God who is Holy. If one person tells another "you must", and "you will", he messes up that person's heart for God. Many people are realizing what God is really about as they turn to Jesus Christ and away from religion, because there is only to be ONE Master of the human heart, and it is not religion, but Jesus Christ.

But checkit, I am screwed if when the Truth is brought to me I say no. Jesus will never insist I believe and give Him my life in exchange for His ways, but if I reject Him I have begun to sign the death warrant of the Son of God in my soul. When I stand face to face with Jesus, and refuse Him telling Him I will not follow, He will not insist, but at that time I am backing away from the Power in Him to make my life what He intended it to be from the very beginning of time.

Jesus could care less how much sin is in my life, or my past when I come into the Light, but Im 100% screwed if I refuse to come into the Light.

The Light is the beginning of renewal and hope.
